Responsibilities:
- Maintains current knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations. Reviews and monitors developments in state and local environmental statutes and regulations that affect the company. Prepares and submitsrequiredcompliancereports.Developsandsubmitsnecessarydocumentationtoobtainenvironmental operating permits. Communicates with environmental regulators on reportable incidents and permitting matters.
- SupervisesandassistincompliancetestingandmonitoringprogramsincludingNADCAPprocessreviews.
- Handlesregulatoryinspectionsatfacility.
- Operateplatingroomequipment,andothermetalfinishingprocesses,andbefamiliarwithplatingmethodsand metal finishing procedures including NADCAP processes.
- Mustbeabletoreadchartsandgraphsandfollowinstructionsclosely.
- AbilitytoperformHAZWPRdutiesforspillcontrol.
- Musthaveworkingknowledgeofmeasuringequipmentandaccuratelyweighandmixchemicalsperinstructions.
- Controlpollutiontreatmenttanksperinstructions.
- Ensurejobdutiesareperformedincompliancewithqualitystandards.
- Responsibleforthepropercareandmaintenanceofequipment.
- Keepworkareacleanandorderly,perform5Sduties.
- Wearsafetyequipmentasalwaysrequiredandworksafely.
- Ensurethatallworkactivitiesareperformedinaccordancewithestablishedsafetyandenvironmentalstandards.
- Makeoutproductionreportsandotherreportsorformsasrequired.
- MaintainfullcompliancewithCompanypoliciesandproceduresandconductsallactivitiesinaccordancewiththe Allied Motion Code of Conduct.
- Demonstrateaknowledgeofandcommitmenttoleanmanufacturingprinciplesandtechniques.Performsall work activities in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
- When performing any tasks involving hazardous chemicals or hazardous waste, follow the regulations and requirementsofRPCCPlan,SPCCPlan,RCRAregulationsandoperatingproceduresinvolvinghazardouschemicals outlined in the Environmental Management System.
- Supports engineersinequipmentorprocessvalidation studies.
- Identifies and repairs common equipment failures.
- Providesoperatortrainingandmonitors documentconformance.
- Identifiesandcorrectscommonprocesscontrolproblems.
- Sets-up,adjustsand operateslaboratory/manufacturingequipmentandinstruments.
- Draftsmanufacturingdocumentssuchasworkinstructions,buildrecords,validationprotocols/reports,etc.
- Buildsandtestpartandprocessvalidationunits.
- SuperviseTeamOperatorsassignedtoassistinplatingroom.
- Responsible for leading, training, monitoring, disciplining to include training records and appropriate documentation.
- Required to work with materials, manufacturing, facilities and purchasing to assure chemicals and replenished, handled, documented, and disposed of correctly.
MinimumQualifications:
- Associate degree inanengineeringfieldoranothercomparable field.Inlieuofadegree,equivalentyearsof experience is necessary.
- 2-5yearsofrelatedworkexperienceinamanufacturingcompany
- Must be able toread blueprintstointerpret requirements for manufacture, testing or assembly of parts;docalculations and keep work areas clean and neat.
- SolidcomputerskillssuchasOffice365
- EmployeemustbelegallyauthorizedtoworkintheUnitedStates.Verificationofemploymenteligibilitywillbe required at the time of hire.
