Oracle Data Center Operational Excellence Program Manager in Dover, Delaware

Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Operational Excellence Program Manager to lead critical initiatives that drive continuous improvement and elevate operational performance across the organization. In this role, you will own and scale programs that improve knowledge sharing, standardization, and process optimization. You will partner across functions to enable smarter decision-making, stronger execution, and a culture rooted in learning and accountability.

Responsibilities

Knowledge Sharing

Design and implement scalable strategies to improve cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Develop and manage tools and workflows that support the timely and effective distribution of lessons, insights, and best practices.

Promote a culture of learning by enabling teams to leverage institutional knowledge to improve outcomes.

Lessons Learned

Lead structured reviews of operational events, incidents, and assessments to extract actionable insights.

Communicate findings to key stakeholders, driving process improvements and risk mitigation efforts.

Trend Analysis

Conduct data-driven analysis of incidents, assessments, and key operational metrics.

Identify emerging issues and opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.

Deliver insights to support strategic planning and organizational learning.

Playbook & Standards Development

Own the development and governance of operational playbooks, SOPs, and standards.

Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure documentation reflects current best practices and business priorities.

Drive consistency by standardizing processes across teams and regions.

Subject Matter Expertise

Lead training and adoption efforts to ensure consistent and effective use of tools and methodologies.

Continuously improve RCA practices to focus on prevention, resilience, and long-term solutions.

Assessments and Compliance

Design and manage self-assessment programs to ensure alignment with organizational standards and compliance expectations.

Recruit and train internal assessors, empowering them to evaluate performance and share insights.

Promote a two-way learning process that drives ownership and fosters continuous improvement.

Training Solutions

Develop Training Program

Partner with operational leaders to identify and close skill and knowledge gaps.

Use assessment findings to inform targeted training initiatives that upskill teams and strengthen execution.

Support scalable training content development and deployment.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in operational excellence, program management, or process improvement roles.

5+ Years in Critical Facility role

Proven track record in designing and scaling cross-functional programs and initiatives.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.

Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to drive alignment and influence stakeholders.

Experience developing standards, playbooks, or training programs at scale is highly desirable

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from $41.83 to $85.63 per hour; from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
