The Senior Data Architect works in all data environments which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. The Senior Data Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Data Architect responsible for developing blueprints for all data repositories. Translates business needs into long-term data architecture solutions. Defines, designs and builds dimensional database schemas. Evaluates reusability of current data for separate analyses. Conducts data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum 7 years of technical experience in data analysis and data modeling SQL, Power BI and/or SSIS
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing Databricks and/or Snowflake
Experience providing expert architecture guidance on Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Modern BI architecture concepts and technologies using Snowflake or Power BI
Experience implementing scalable and maintainable Dimensional Data Models to meet business objectives, including construction of Power BI Semantic Models and Dataflows
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
Be an innovative thinker with an innate curiosity around data
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare or managed care experience
Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for analysts and leaders to derive insights
Experience leading projects through entire life cycle, from design, coding, code review and deployment
Proficient in root cause analysis
Prepare data for reporting and analysis including visualizations to support business requirements.
Experience in performing in-depth data analysis to derive insights that drives business outcomes and decisions.
Experience in problem analysis and process documentation

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$106,900 - $147,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
