Day to Day
Data Compliance Platform enables Indeed/Recruit to manage and improve its data compliance posture at scale, across all data storage systems and products. This role focuses on two key areas: 1) complete, accurate and easy-to-use inventory of data assets, and 2) connecting data asset entities with other entities. This work involves navigating dependencies across numerous upstream, downstream, and related sibling systems. The ideal candidate will excel in refining problem spaces, driving designs that affect multiple teams, and building alignment.
Responsibilities
Define, design, build and maintain software for our data compliance mission, while also finding opportunities for simplification and reuse across problem spaces.
Possess detailed knowledge of not only our own products but also how it fits into the broader ecosystem.
Participate in problems space reviews, design reviews and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Mentor and grow other software engineers in your team.
Communicate concisely and persuasively across teams and functions.
Skills/Competencies
Bachelor: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
5+ years of direct industry experience using Java or Python (Java preferred)
Solid sense of ownership and accountability as a key contributor in technical and product domains
Experience in driving problem space reviews or design reviews that impact multiple teams
Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms and Computer Fundamentals
Salary Range Transparency
US Remote 127,000 - 183,000 USD per year
