Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our dynamic team, providing production support for both homegrown and vendor Tax & Treasury applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ASP .NET development, strong SQL Server/Oracle database, solid understanding of DevSecOps tools and extensive experience with vendor applications. This role demands a proactive problem-solver who can work efficiently under pressure and is committed to maintaining the stability and security of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-2/3 support for Tax & Treasury applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

  • Independently designs, codes and lead others in the development of cost-effective applications and solutions.

  • Leads or acts as chief technical contributor of business requirements to technical specifications.

  • Will lead or act as a subject matter expert for projects and/or service requests impacting an application or set of applications.

  • Ability to support and lead others to develop .Net web applications, API services and SQL Server tables and stored procedures and perform unit testing.

  • Able to work with diverse infrastructure teams to support application migration, certificate renewals and access provisioning.

  • Liaise with third-party vendors to address and resolve issues with vendor applications.

  • Able to independently use ServiceNow to key in Change and support requests.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Maintain and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.

  • Develop, test, and deploy bug fixes and enhancements for .NET applications.

  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards.

  • Work on continuous improvement of the application support processes.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps tools.

  • Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle.

  • Automate repetitive tasks and improve deployment processes.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

  • Coordinate with vendors for application updates and patches.

  • Evaluate and recommend vendor solutions to improve application performance and security.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in .NET development, C# and Vendor application support.

  • 7+ years of SQL Server or Oracle database experience.

  • Proven experience with DevSecOps tools such as Git, TeamCity, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, and others.

  • Solid understanding of application security practices and standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with monitoring tools and practices.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

  • Exposure to Cloud Data management tools.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Certifications in .NET, DevOps, or security (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

  • Certifications in .NET, DevOps, or security (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
