Description
We are a dynamic and growing hearing company located in Downey, CA. We are currently seeking a skilled, empathetic and highly motivated individual for the position of Medical Patient Care Coordinator. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of excellent administrative skills and comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare sector, centered around patient care related to audio health.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling patient appointments and managing calendar for audiologists and other medical professionals.
Assisting patients with the check-in process, gathering all necessary data, and ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
Arranging both initial patient assessments, as well as follow-up appointments and patient care.
Generating patient invoices and coordinating insurance claims processing.
Maintaining medical records in a confidential manner and ensuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
Providing information to patients about hearing health procedures and products.
Processing hearing aid orders, repairs, and maintenance.
Communicating with patients to enhance understanding of their hearing health condition and treatment.
Developing relationships with patients to ensure enhanced patient satisfaction and to promote return visitations.
