The Muskingum County Library System is seeking a Part Time Customer Service Assistant. This position's primary location is at our Dresden Branch.
We are seeking someone who is not only friendly, adaptable, and a team player but also genuinely enjoys working with people and is passionate about supporting our library's mission. They should have a proactive and empathetic approach to customer service and be comfortable helping patrons with basic technology needs, as well as assisting others in navigating our library's resources.
Muskingum County is located in beautiful Southeastern Ohio just 50 miles east of Columbus, Ohio and is the home of Ohio University-Zanesville Campus, Zane State College, and Muskingum University. Primary Location: Dresden Branch (816 Main St, Dresden, OH 43821)
Salary: $14.45 to $15.73 per hour (17 hours per week, varied schedule)

*Job Responsibilities: *Under general supervision, the Customer Service Assistant will provide excellent customer service to our patrons, shelve books and other library materials and maintain orderliness of library stacks. They will perform general customer service functions and may need to make supervisor-level decisions in the absence of the Customer Service Specialist.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; availability to work evenings and weekends.
