Camp Lucy, a Texas’ premier wine country resort, is seeking a passionate Lead Bartender for Tillie’s Restaurant & Bar. This person should not only bring their talent but also their excitement to create an amazing holistic experience to everyone that walks through the doors. You will be a part of the management team leading the front of house operations for our highly stylized, ‘American Nouveau’ restaurant fashioned out of a 19th-century Vietnamese town hall with inspirations from around the world. Job Summary
The Lead Bartender oversees ordering and inventory and is responsible for creating tasty craft specialty cocktails and monitoring overall bar experience for our restaurant, pool and bar guests.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Lead Bartender will be responsible for additional training duties, as well as supporting the other associates with the daily tasks assigned.
Provide high-quality service to all guests, creating personal connections through friendly conversation intuitive suggestions, and engaging surroundings.
Maintain high cleaning standards of the bar and do daily cleaning and side work.
Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
Process all payment methods and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment.
Monitor beverage consumption so as not to overserve.
Weekly ordering and inventory responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned.
Create craft cocktail specialty menu and rotate out seasonally.
Qualifications and Skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to purchase and price beverages that are desirable to the guest and profitable to Tillie's.
An outgoing and social personality.
A great eye for detail.
The passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude. A team-player mindset.
Previous restaurant, bar, or customer service experience is preferred for a Lead Bartender.
The ability to stand and move at a fast pace for lengthy periods of time. Working long hours may also be required based on business needs. Must be available to work weekends and holidays, as necessary.
