This role will play a pivotal part in managing accurate information within our ERP system (JD Edwards) related to Item Masters, Customer and Vendor Masters, MRP parameters amongst others.

This role will support monthly, quarterly and annual data quality cadence to check and maintain valid values within business critical fields.

Utilising reports and data quality dashboards, this role will identify and support prioritised cleanup activities.

Main responsibilities:

Scope and Authority:

  • Create and maintain address books records within the ERP system.

  • Create and maintain item masters and ECO (Engineering Change Orders) within the ERP system to support Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and revision including effectivity dates, revision levels as applicable for sites.

  • Create and maintain Routings within the ERP system.

  • Enter and maintain pricing within the ERP system.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of system data for integrity and accuracy. Support a monthly, quarterly, annual data quality check for business critical fields.

  • Analyse database reports to identify items to be phased out or obsoleted.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail with regards to accurate data entry. Understand the impacts of incorrect data entry will have to PCI cost accounting, procurement, production, MRP and data exchange with customers and PCI business systems.

  • Track metrics pertaining to completed requests and errors affecting Right First Time (RFT) for this role.

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, GMP and GCP policies, procedures and rules.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Work Experience and Skills Required

Essential

  • Experience in the Creation and maintenance of all aspects of master data within an ERP system.

  • Basic mathematical skills.

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience of handling and managing data and processes.

  • Highly numerate and analytical.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent database skills and confident in the use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

  • Ability to combine large amounts of data from a wide range of sources and to identify key points from a range of data outputs.

  • Ability to communicate complex information and processes in a structured and clear manner.

  • Experience of supporting cross-organisational projects and processes.

  • A diplomatic and supportive approach to working with colleagues across the organisation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of seniority.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • A high degree of personal initiative and a solutions-focused mindset.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and deliver to regular deadlines for multiple audiences.

  • Highly efficient and able to quickly perform administrative tasks with excellent attention to detail.

  • A commitment to delivering high quality work.

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.

  • Ability to display excellent time management skills.

  • Ability to hold oneself in a professional manner.

  • Ability to effectively present information to various people as the role requires.

  • Knowledge of submitting and maintaining client/supplier pricing.

  • Experience of working in a data management role.

  • Experience of working with large data sets.

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Bachelors degree in an information systems / IT field or equivalent.

  • GCSE Mathematics and English grades A* - C or equivalent.

Desirable

  • Recognised Data Management qualification.
