Job Description

Undertakes delivery of complex projects across the full spectrum of cost management activities under minimal direction and while managing a team. Displays specialist sector knowledge and expertise, particularly in High-end Residential, Hospitality sectors and mixed-use developments. Experience with management of projects over US$ 1bn is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the production and delivery of a variety of deliverables across all cost consultancy services.

  • Manages projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and acts as primary point of contact for clients.

  • Supervises and mentors more junior members of staff to enable their development, assisting with the graduate development programme where appropriate.

  • Leading client engagement across the portfolio of projects.

  • Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector.

  • Manages the resources across a portfolio of projects, all within the established budgets.

  • Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.

  • Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports.

  • Functioning as a Project Manager within the organization on up to 5 active projects.

  • Manages internal project profitability and project commercial management using corporate systems (e.g. Oracle) as relevant.

  • Responsible for timely billing and cash collection in compliance with contract terms.

  • Responsible for ensuring that any additional work/changes in scope are approved by clients.

  • Ensures all deliverables comply with the corporate project delivery system procedures.

  • Complies with all QA requirements.

  • Benchmarks project data.

  • Participates in internal and external networking and business growth.

Experience

  • Minimum 12 years post graduate experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited, internationally recognized institution or University.

  • MRICS or equivalent accreditation.
