About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Receptionist to join the team of Talise Spa in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Greet guests and members warmly, providing information about available facilities and services while suggesting upgrades where appropriate.

  • Manage incoming calls promptly, adhering to established standards of etiquette and demonstrating patience in addressing inquiries and requests. Accurately handle guest messages and communication needs.

  • Guide guests to their desired locations within the spa and facilitate connections with the appropriate services.

  • Coordinate spa service reservations for guests, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely service by coordinating staff schedules.

  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, maintaining product supply inventory, and other duties essential for effective management and operations.

  • Promptly report any issues or guest complaints to the appropriate channels, utilizing the logbook and participating in staff meetings as necessary based on urgency.

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to confirm reservations, address engineering requests, and uphold cleanliness standards.

  • Stay informed about current spa and hotel activities, including promotions, to effectively assist guests.

  • Execute daily operational procedures, including opening, operating, and closing tasks.

  • Participate in scheduled training programs and internal spa meetings to enhance skills and stay updated on organizational developments.

  • Document guest requests, complaints, or engineering needs accurately in the appropriate logbook.

  • Arrive punctually for shifts, wearing the designated uniform and nametag, and maintaining good hygiene practices.

  • Provide information and literature about the facility both in person and over the phone.

  • Ensure unauthorized access to facility areas is restricted, maintaining control over entry points.

  • Collect payments from guests for services rendered using appropriate payment methods.

  • Perform clerical duties as required to support administrative functions.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in English and a second language (Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic or French) would be an added advantage

  • At least 1 year of experience as a spa receptionist in a luxury hotel
