Location: Dublin

Urbanmedia: is the national sales house for market leading radio stations across the main urban cities of Ireland.The stations we represent in Ireland include FM104, Q102, Corks 96FM & C103, Limerick Live 95,LMFM, U105, TalkSPORT Ireland, WLR and Galway Bay FM. Your Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Podcast Producer to join our growing team. As a Senior Podcast Producer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction and production quality of our podcast lineup. You will work closely with hosts, writers, editors, and other team members to develop compelling content that engages and captivates our audience.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end production process for multiple podcast projects, from conceptualization to post-production including visalisation.

  • Collaborate with hosts and content creators to develop engaging show concepts, formats, and episode ideas.

  • Oversee script development, ensuring content is well-researched, structured, and aligns with Urban Media's brand and audience interests.

  • Manage recording sessions, providing guidance to hosts and guests to ensure high-quality audio recordings.

  • Edit and mix audio content using industry-standard software, maintaining high production values and adhering to deadlines.

  • Coordinate with graphic designers and marketing team to create promotional assets and marketing campaigns for podcast releases.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in podcasting, implementing innovative strategies to grow our audience and enhance listener engagement.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Someone who recognises great content and storytelling opportunities.

  • Great understanding of journalism, media production, or related field.

  • Experience in podcast production, with a proven track record of producing successful shows.

  • Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar.

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to develop compelling narratives and engaging content.

  • Video editing experience would be a plus but not required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.

  • Passion for podcasts and a deep understanding of the interests and preferences of urban audiences.
