Meta Incident Response Analyst (STE) in Dublin, Ireland

Summary:

The Meta legal team is seeking a motivated, highly-organized, detail-oriented candidate to join our Incident Response Team. The right candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and exceptional partnering skills. Required Skills:

Incident Response Analyst (STE) Responsibilities:

  1. Bring operational excellence to a team that evaluates threat, risk and user privacy in an environment centered around time critical emergency escalations.

  2. Review and assess inbound emergency escalations

  3. make immediate decisions based on variety of complex factors that will include imminence, sensitive issues and graphic content and coordinate with a number of internal and external partners including law enforcement in an attempt to ensure user’s safety.

  4. Create and articulate written and/or verbal responses to questions from law enforcement, government agencies, and internal teams regarding Incident Response policy and process.

  5. Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes across teams.

  6. Available for weekend work on a rotational basis regularly.

  7. This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

  1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

  2. 2+ years of relevant experience in investigative or analytical roles.

  3. Self-starter requiring minimal direction.

  4. Proven ability to analyse information to assess threat and risk.

  5. Proven ability to make important decisions independently and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex environments without compromising quality.

  6. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different stakeholders like cross-functional teams and law enforcement.

  7. Experience with social media, analytical tools and online research.

  8. Ability to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Project Management, Operations or Process Improvement Experience.

  2. Experience with Crisis Management, Government Agencies or Law Enforcement.

  3. Multiple language proficiency preferable as the analyst may deal with issues in markets of different languages.
