Team / Role Overview
Loans Agency manager will be responsible for daily management of a busy team that covers a growing Facility Agency deal population that involves a large number of bespoke client arrangements. The successful candidate will be required to provide leadership and subject matter expertise to simultaneously manage day-to-day operations and build capacity to take on new business. This is a senior position with the team and the candidate must have relevant years of experience within Loans Agency.
What you will do:
Day to day management of the Loans team.
Ensure accurate set up and maintenance of loan transactions within Solvas system, including diarizing and inputting of loan rollovers, reconciliation of cash amounts and liaising with internal and external counterparties when appropriate.
Responsibility to own post closure support for Loan Agency and Loan Administration supported within Issuer Services
Act as a focal point for allocated clients. Build and develop client relationships and manage issues
Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex problems
Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
Identify system and process gaps to reinforce controls within the team
Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members
What we'll need from you:
Relevant experience required
Experience within Facility Agency essential
Knowledge of the syndicated loan market desirable.
Experience of Solvas Suite advantageous.
Strong transaction management / execution & negotiation skills.
Proven inter-personal/communication skills.
Ability to learn on the job, respond quickly to changing requirements and to take ownership for self-improvement
