RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role as Concrete Foreman, you will use experience in the field to ensure work is put in place with accuracy, to meet the job specifications, while motivating and effectively managing tradesman, collaborating with Superintendents, and communicating with others on the job site.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete workers and tradesmen
Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
Layout and oversee concrete projects from start to finish
Ensure all work meets the company's high standards for quality
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and management
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in commercial construction, preferred
Proficient in the use of industry tools and equipment
Proficiency in reading blueprints and project layouts
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Up to date with the latest technology involving concrete work
Detail-oriented, well-organized, with an ability to multi-task
Task-oriented, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines
Flexible availability, including some overtime and weekends
OSHA 10, preferred
Operator's certificate, preferred
Able to lift at least 35 pounds, unassisted, and stand for extended periods
