Covetrus, Inc. seeks Scrum Master in Dublin, OH: Job Duties: Proactively facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and consensus among the team members and dependent teams, for the purpose of guiding teams towards improving the work procedure. Oversee and optimize the flow of development. Support teams leverage process flow and productivity metrics to improve production quality and monitor and communicate variance. Facilitate subsequent product iterations (a.k.a. Sprints) and product release planning, feature and story card sizing, reviews, retrospectives, and backlogs. Protect the Sprint Backlog and coordinate between stakeholders and teams to negotiate Sprint scope and communicate project status. Facilitate Sprint Reviews, using outcome to work with product management in updating the Product Backlog. Facilitate Sprint Retrospectives and expedite plans for improvement. Track increment planning and help coordinate complex program delivery. Oversee risks and have risk mitigation plans in place. Support in compiling regular updates for Portfolio or Department partners, coordinate cross-organization demos, and assist in development projects as necessary (such as rolling out new tools and technologies to teams). Telecommuting and remote employment permitted.

 

 Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related or scrum master-related position.

 

 Special Skill Requirements: 1. team coaching development with Agile Principles and scrum values; 2. Facilitating Scrum meetings and conflict resolution; 3. Guiding development teams throughout the software lifecycles; 4. maintaining Dashboards (such as Jira or ADO), Sprint boards and reports to determine Velocity and cycle time; 5. forecasting deliverables based on reporting and help team to focus on the deadlines; 6. overseeing budget/resource allocation and timeline/risk management; 7. working across teams in Pl Planning and ensure dependencies and risks are addressed; and, 8. utilizing UAT  documents and coordination on demo with stakeholders.
