Job Title: Electrical Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This individual should have experience in the electrical trade, potentially having worked as an Electrician, and possess experience in the field. The role requires working in the office five days a week and assisting the Vice President and other Project Managers with daily tasks.
Responsibilities
Plan and organize projects under the direction of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
Monitor project activities in conjunction with the onsite personnel and Superintendent to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget
Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of the Project Manager
Manage financial aspects of contracts including billing, rental equipment, and income/expense tracking
Maintain a good relationship with clients
Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
Continually identify and proactively manage project requirements
Prepare project submittals and change orders
Drawing take-off/estimating
Procurement of materials
Prepare billings and manage collections
Oversee project closeout activities
Forecast requirements, manage budgets, and track expenses
Create and maintain detailed project schedules
Oversee electrical installation, power distribution, and construction management
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in the electrical field
Experience with submittals and change orders
Knowledge of electrical installation of equipment, construction management, and wiring

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee may occasionally encounter extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level can be loud, and work may be performed both inside and outside, including in adverse weather conditions. The primary functions of this job will be conducted in an office environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
