Brady Corporation Shipping Clerk in Duluth, Georgia

What We Need:

Works as part of the warehouse team, completing preparations for shipment tasks as well as various others to assist and support the department.:

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preparing packages for shipment; packing boxes, specialty packaging of various items including machines, parts and materials.

  • Accurately preparing and applying shipping labels for LTL, UPS and other shipping methods.

  • Processes all sales orders requested to ship (Pull, Pack, Wrap, Label and Ship).

  • Operates shipping and receiving equipment such as shrink wrap, foam dispenser, labeling machine and the like.

  • Uses a computer to enter, monitor, and retrieve data from the Inventory Management system.

  • Assists with monitoring customer orders, shipping orders and requisitions and matches to items requiring distribution or shipment.

  • Works as part of the team to support various other warehouse-related tasks such as:

  • Inventory cycle-counts, and

  • receiving activities and

  • Other Duties as assigned.

    What You Will Need To Be Successful:

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse shipping and receiving environment.

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift. Forklift certification strongly preferred.

  • Requires ability to lift 50 lbs and perform other essential functions. (See below for Work Environment.)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately match sales order to shipping details.

  • Demonstrated skills in meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, variable environment.
