[Job Summary: []{#Description}[The Human Resources Director is responsible for ensuring a sustainable work force for the City. This is accomplished by creating and overseeing recruiting strategies to attract highly qualified individuals; retaining valued employees through equitable and fair compensation and benefits, and ensuring a positive and professional work environment through compliance with federal, state, and city regulations, policies and programs. In addition, the Human Resources Director oversees risk management practices within the organization.
