In addition to providing amazing service, you will process all customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and sell cashier checks and follow established procedures. The Customer Service Representative/Teller demonstrates a high degree of accountability while delivering superb customer service and compiling with all banking laws and regulations. The selected incumbent may be eligible for increases through completion of BSJ's Performance Development Plans and the BSJ Annual Bonus. Bank Happy. Work Happy. Right Here. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greeting all customers immediately meeting our Service Excellence Pledge standards.

Actively participate in the High Performance Checking (HPC) program including Branch HPC displays, Big Days, and Tell a Friend program.

Cash Checks, process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and negotiable instruments.

Process night deposit

Accept payments for loans, lines of credit, safe deposit boxes.

Issue Cashier's Checks and Credit Card Advances.

Assist Customers in reconciling accounts, closing accounts, changing addresses.

Exhibit proficiency and accuracy in cash handling skills including counting, posting, balancing and buying and selling responsibility.

Provide Customer service on ACH and ATM inquiries and disputes, on-line banking inquiries and resets.

Provide Statement printouts and check copy requests.

Refers the customer to the appropriate department for further assistance.

Know the features and benefits for bank products and services.

Effectively sell and cross sell the services and accounts offered by the Bank. Be able to maintain a pleasant, helpful demeanor toward customers and personnel.

Answers incoming calls, directs calls, and takes messages.

Proper usage of Jack Henry System as well as other supporting systems.

Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Other misc. duties as assigned. About You

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months prior Customer service experience is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

Proficiency in computer applications.

Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level. Must be able to work Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.
