This position prepares all financial statements and reports. Serves as a resource on generally accepted accounting principals, financial accounting standards board rules. Assists in developing and maintaining internal procedures. Assignments are broad and complex in nature. A Day in the Life: Analyzes complex accounting interrelationships. Ensures that systems and procedures are in compliance with company policy and practices. Identifies accounting problems, researches solutions and presents conclusions to management. Prepares and/or reviews interpretation of accounting results. Advises management on meaning of the results. Drafts procedures for review. Classifies and/or reviews recording of routine to complex accounting transactions. Required Skills and Experiences: 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. Nice to Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Experience with Cost Accounting.
