Your responsibilities include: Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing various issues on motorized power equipment and tools Performing service calls on the road and communicating with customers about equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed Performing routine engine maintenance (lubricating parts, replacing spark plugs, testing and inspecting engines for malfunctioning parts, repairing and replacing worn/defective/broken parts, and reassembling and reinstalling components and engines following repairs) Cleaning up tools and work areas after each project, keeping indoor and outdoor workstations clean and clear from obstructions, and maintaining clean and working service trucks Prioritizing your work schedule, especially during busy seasonal times Clearly communicating with the Service Supervisor and Parts department to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner Accurately record keeping, including inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used Assisting as sales support if needed Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity Completing related tasks as assigned Qualifications: A valid Driver s License with a clean driving record To be willing to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons To be willing to cross-train in other repair areas and help work on anything sold at Acme Tools Lift up to 75 lbs.
