Screw Machine Operator
Direct Hire Opportunity!
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm M-F
Salary range: $52,000-$62,400 (based on experience)
Location: East Brunswick, NJ
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produces machined parts by setting up and operating
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, and machining parameters
Maintains specifications, time and production records, quality and safety standards, equipment and supplies
Able to interpret production drawings, procedures, and work instructions
Assume responsibility for producing quality parts
Submit first piece samples and documentation to Quality Control
Work with Plant Manager and Leads to resolve any tooling or setup problems that may occur
Qualifications:
Education: HS diploma or GED
Prior experience and knowledge of lathe operation and milling machines beneficial
Candidate must maintain good safety practices
Minimum 3 years’ experience
Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
Screw Machine: 3 years (Required)
Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
