Job description:
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction office and perform the following tasks:
- Process Accounts Payable invoices, including matching invoices and receiving reports. Maintain w-4 forms, set up vendors following approved processes.
- Payroll processing: Process payroll using payroll service, understanding of RI General Laws regarding hours worked, overtime, holiday pay and prevailing wage compliance.
- Certified Payroll Preparation:ability to prepare RI Certified Payroll reports.
- Accounts Receivable:Process billing for service calls including submission of required reports with invoice.
- Requisition Preparation:Prepare AIA billing for construction projects.
- General Ledger: prepare month end and year-end adjusting journal entries and supporting schedule
