In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of a cutting-edge solution that aims to automate commercial reporting and insights to standardize business performance across the organization. You will play an instrumental part in shaping and prioritizing the features of this solution in daily operations.

WHAT THIS TEAM AND ROLE DOES

Our team is at the forefront of driving AI, data, and analytics across US Sales & Planning. As a Product Owner leading our two most important Data Products (Customer360º and Outlet 360º), you will oversee the team as they work towards the following objectives:

  • Design and Implement high-quality Data Products in the Commercial and Planning domains, driving the philosophy of ease of use, reusability, scalability, high quality and operational efficiency.

  • Democratize access to a highly curated and good quality Data product, scaling data usage across customer teams, RGM teams, and senior executives.

  • Enable the AI native transformation for the Sales & Planning function through two highly maintained Data products, Customer 360º and Outlet 360º.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmapfor all data products in Commercial and Planning scope, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.

  • Work closely with business users, data scientists, and engineers to understand data-related requirements and translate them into actionable data product features.

  • Analyze data sets to identify insights, trends, and opportunities that can be leveraged to enhance the data product offering. While overseeing data collection, storage, and quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of data products via FAIR, DQI, and other frameworks,and drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Partner with the data governance team (and data steward) to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data integrity, security, and confidentiality.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities with excellent attention to detail.

  • Collaborate with data owners to ensure reliable, accessible, high-fidelity information within our tools, driving requirements through a focus on business needs.

  • Sign off the final user acceptance testing of new features and functions and manage communication of product releases to external and internal stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Experience leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders between business, technology and data functions.

  • Experience in Product Management – defining Product Vision and Roadmap with the focus on consumers, partnering with Stakeholders, ensuring adoption and cost-efficiency.

  • Passion for building high-quality data products, using data to drive business growth and be comfortable working with data in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting.

  • Experience in Commercial Business domain, ideally in CPG or FMCG industry.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement, explaining complex data concepts to non-technical individuals.

WHAT EXTRA INGREDIENTS YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Product Management, preferably in data-focused or analyticsroles or industries.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering, perfect understanding of Databases, Cloud Technologies, Data Modelling, ETL, Data Layers, Data Governance, Master Data and Metadata Management.

  • 10+ years experience developing data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI

  • SQL, CI/CD experience required

  • Understanding of Agile SDLC Methodologies.

  • Experience on enabling data democratization.

  • Experience with Data Cataloging and Data Observability tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within defined timelines.

  • Eagerness to constantly seek improvements in the tech stack, data practices, and data solutions.

  • Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor.

  • Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders.

  • Strong Data Modelling skills.

  • Experience in Python programming skills.

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Understanding industry-specific external data sources used to measure and track performance (e.g., Nielsen).

  • Understanding of the consumer goods industry or similar industries.

  • Experience with data governance, privacy regulations, and best practices is a plus.

  • Big data experience leveraging Spark or Hadoop technologies within a cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud – Big Query, etc.).

  • Experience working with Jira or ADOis a plus.
