Applications Developer here in our East Longmeadow, MA office and play a
key role in updating and enhancing our in-house intranet and other
applications. Under the guidance of our Chief Information Officer,
you\'ll be at the forefront of technological advancements, supporting
various departments within Maybury. As an Applications Developer, your
responsibilities will include: Migration and Maintenance: Perform
seamless migration of intranet web forms to current technology and
continuously adapt and maintain applications to meet our evolving
business needs. Content Development: Respond to internal department
requests by creating new intranet content, ensuring ongoing support for
business needs, and updating existing content. Code Development: Write
efficient, testable code using best software development practices to
ensure the robustness of our applications. Reporting and Analysis:
Generate various reports for internal departments, conducting data
mining and analysis to provide essential information for business
functions. Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Leadership and
various departments to design solutions for technical business problems,
boosting staff productivity and aligning with company goals. Problem
Resolution: Investigate and resolve problems identified by end users,
ensuring timely and effective solutions. Technology Research: Stay
updated on new technologies and tools, contributing to the advancement
of our systems. Special Projects: Participate in special projects and
take on additional duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree
in a technology-focused major; and/or certification or equivalent
experience. 2+ years of ASP.net and .NET framework experience and in the
latest .Net version. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery,
Ajax, and JSON. Experience in MVC/MVVM/MVP/Web Forms architectures.
Proficiency using Transact SQL (T-SQL). Analytical and detail-oriented
mindset, translating functional requirements into effective web-based
solutions. Understanding of web design principles and user experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Experience using
Visual Studio 2019/2022, Telerik UI and Reports, Microsoft IIS,
WordPress, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP), and SQL Server
Reporting Services preferred but not required. Maybury is an
