UnitedHealth Group Campaign Manager - Marketing Operations - Remote in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

We are seeking a Campaign Change Manager as part of the OptumRx Marketing Operations team. This position requires a strong background in marketing campaign development with the ability to drive omni-channel customer communications process. This position will support analysis of current process and work with the Optum Customer Communications Center of Excellence team to pave a new process forward within various dynamic content management systems. In addition to developing new campaign process, this position will need to be utilized as a project manager for custom creative requests during peak season on an annual basis.

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated the ability to execute multiple projects in a fast paced, results oriented work environment. Additionally, you must be highly motived, roll up your sleeves, and collaborative partner with a passion towards producing excellence for each and every project.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the Campaign Change team in creating new process or enhancing existing process based on Campaign Best Practices outlined by our team.

  • Act as the Marketing Ops “process architect” for PBM/Formulary customer campaigns that are selected to undergo campaign modernization. Strong background in developing/designing complex campaign/business rules for custom communications to hundreds of clients within a single campaign launch.

  • Partner with marketing leads, Optum IT, Optum Customer Communications COE and other internal stakeholders to deliver enhanced campaign process a cost effective, timely manner.

  • Define, track, and deliver key quality success measures related to accuracy and timeliness of communications projects flowing through the appropriate platform/team.

  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to review and identify any issues or ways to improve the end to end lifecycle with member communication projects.

  • Partner and consult with all internal and external cross functional teams (e.g. consumer data management & outreach, marketing project management, print fulfillment, email/SMS operations, creative designers, marketing managers, client services, Optum IT, external delivery vendors, etc) to deliver, maintain and optimize the campaign/communication process

  • Accountability of the end to end project plan - Oversee marketing and communication projects from start to finish, managing timelines and making sure that all aspects of the project are delivered on strategy, on time, and on budget.

  • Work closely with business unit partners to understand program goals and objectives to develop strategic and suitable project plans to achieve successful implementation and optimal results.

  • Manage competing priorities and timelines across the cross functional project team.

  • Use multiple platforms for organizing, tracking and managing projects. Create, manage, and communicate project timelines leveraging WorkFront (PM Software tool).

  • Schedule and facilitate project status and kickoff meetings.

  • Maintain detailed project plan status and associated project plan reporting metrics.

  • Lead and embrace continuous improvement methodologies and drive detailed solutions to completion with minimal oversight.

  • Provide “white glove” service to the requesters and our internal partners, by delivering projects on time, with thoughtful solutions to unique challenges, in potentially tight timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience

  • PBM experience

  • Workfront experience

  • Complex Marketing Campaign experience

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across a wide range of groups and functions

  • Demonstrates strategic thinking by using appropriate information to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and collaborate with impacted groups to drive decisions and quality results

  • Ability to effectively shift back and forth from a variety of projects and priorities

  • Familiarity with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
