What We're Seeking The Supply Chain Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost optimization, and strong financial performance. This role involves developing and maintaining financial models to analyze the costs and benefits of various supply chain strategies. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements, monitors key performance indicators related to supply chain costs, inventory management, and working capital, and prepares and presents financial reports to senior management. Additionally, the manager oversees the budgeting and forecasting process for supply chain costs. This position drives efficiency and profitability by using analytical and quantitative methods to understand and predict business processes, influencing data-driven decision-making and yielding positive financial results. The Supply Chain Finance Manager plays a critical role in developing new insights and understanding of the business, making a significant impact on the organization. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Production and Distribution Analytics *Develop and maintain financial models to analyze the costs and benefits of various supply chain strategies and initiatives. *Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance with emphasis in Supply Chain and Financial Planning & Analysis. *Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and strategic initiatives with the ability to foresee challenges to be addressed throughout the end-to-end business flow. *Bring best practices around measuring supply chain performance, develop performance reports, report with quality standards, and analyze trends and identify recommendations. Customer Trends & Profitability *Work with the procurement, logistics, and IT departments to enhance service delivery through visibility and cost-efficiency. *Develop and monitor business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), maintain scorecards and partner on understanding the data and collaborating to create action plans and execute against them. *Conduct gross margin analysis by SKU to visualize the impact of pricing, COGS, cost savings, and changes in transportation network. Leverage as key support in our pricing process. *Provide financial guidance and support to the supply chain team to help achieve financial targets. *Dig in on analysis within supply chain related costs, warehouse, freight in/out, and comparing to scenarios and projecting forward. Information Data Management *Conduct special financial studies to build up business cases and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of analyses. *Partner with IT to leverage business technology savviness, concepts, and data management to solve challenges and drive continuous improvement. *Define standards and thresholds, share and update information to allow a more active inventory management by optimizing safety stocks to prevent inventory shortage and/or overstock. *Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with internal and external partners while promoting company initiatives and values. Supply Data *Monitor and a alyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain costs, inventory management, and working capital. *Proactively address key issues with data predictability and work with partners to develop mitigation plans, improvements, and ensure implementation through appropriate follow-up. *Maintain strong working relationships and communications across departments and collaboratively work together to understand the business, identify areas of inefficiency to develop and implement solutions and cost reduction strategies. *Optimize cost tracking practices to allow for more transparency and efficient decision making. *Conduct special financial and Supply Chain studies and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of analyses. *Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects. *Other duties as assigned. What You'll Need (Qualifications) *Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or equivalent combination of education. *10 years' previous experience in Finance with an emphasis on Supply Chain. *Must have excellent computer skills, ERP experience and experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting. *Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders. *Must have planning and organizational skills as well as be coachable and forward thinking. *Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure. *Must have a proven track record of working with cross functional teams, to include external partners, to achieve best in class solutions. *Must be driven and energized by the challenges and product cost savings. *Must have a basic understanding of economics. *Must be creative, solution oriented and have a positive mindset. *Must have the capacity to react quickly to changing priorities. *Must have an analytical mind with strong business acumen.
