Our client, a sugar wholesaler/co-op is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. As a Financial Analyst, you will serves as the power user (in conjunction with the FP&A Manager) for the SAP PA module as part of the Finance team. In this position you will provide technical and analytical support to ongoing business operations in the areas of financial forecasting, financial reporting, cost, and profitability analysis.

Schedule: Hybrid M-F 8am-4:30pm
What’s the Job?
Assist in month-end close process and prepare standard reports, including profitability analysis assessments and journal entries.
Analyze month-end freight results and evaluate variances compared to forecast.
Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management, compiling actual and forecasted information and conducting P&L variance analysis by business segment.
Manage and maintain integrity of Product and Customer P&L data within the Profitability Analysis (PA) module, supporting Sales & Marketing with financial data for decision-making.
Support FP&A Manager on projects, including financial planning, business analysis, and system improvements, while serving as backup for cost accounting duties.
What’s Needed?
7-10 years of relevant work experience in financial analyst position
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
SAP user experience
Microsoft Office Suite experience, with advanced Excel skills
Data warehouse management experience preferred
