Tradition Capital Bank Edina, MN Description:Job Purpose: The Quality Control Specialist position is accountable for assessing account and core specification changes to verify the integrity and accuracy of the data and documentation. Works with team members to research and resolve maintenance exceptions that arise. The Quality Control Specialist tasks will be completed in a timely, caring and defect-free manner, consistent with our client Service Standards. Primary Accountabilities: * New Account and File Maintenance Review: Independently reviews reports daily to validate core and application system specifications and account file maintenance changes. Verify existence of proper authorization, adequate supporting documentation, and accuracy of maintenance on fields deemed as critical. Maintain a continuing and consistent understanding of the bank's new account opening, general account maintenance, and critical file maintenance procedures. Finally, maintain a good understanding of core system applications and fields designated as critical from an audit and system integrity perspective. * Critical File Maintenance Procedure Review and Report Integrity: Conducts a periodic review of critical file maintenance procedures and completes updates as required. Ensures customized reporting is functioning accurately and capturing file maintenance deemed critical. Identifies areas of improvement in overall process to gain efficiency, system integrity, and accuracy throughout the review process. * Collaboration: Collaborates with appropriate parties on any identified exceptions as deemed necessary. Partners with various areas in the bank included, but not limited to; the bank's data governance team, Operations Managers, compliance and internal audit team, and client experience team, to incorporate necessary changes or enhancements to the process. May collaborate on special projects, as assigned. Requirements:Expectations, Skills & Qualifications: * A role model for our core values: Do the Right Thing, Get Stuff Done (G.S.D), One Team, and Give Generously * Understanding of system specifications, operations, and/or new account opening process related to account titling and documentation * Familiarity with Fiserv Premier core system and applications, Fiserv Director, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other related systems utilized by the bank. * Stays abreast with bank's internal policies and procedures, as required. * Sophisticated ability to be detail oriented and organized. * Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment. * Flexible to change in a growing organization. * Excellent verbal, and written communication skills. * Able to prioritize, organize, structure, and manage multiple projects/tasks. * Demonstrates a collaborative work style with positive intent and respect for others. * Fully proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint; strong technical ability * Independent and adaptive learner. * Demonstrate self-motivation and present a resourceful work ethic. * Is accountable for demonstrating compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy of Consumer Financial Information and all other federal and state rules and regulations as it pertains to their position at the bank. Education & Experience: A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University in related field, 5-7 years of banking experience, (in deposit operations or as a personal banker); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to type, carry, handle and feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception in the window environment and the ability to adjust focus. * This job operates in a professional office environment.
