This position is the initial point of contact providing frontline support on team member questions related to general Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures. This position is responsible for assisting with the administration of daily operations within the Team Member Service Center. The position will have access to confidential records and provide exceptional customer service to former, current, and future team members.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Team Member Center Specialist at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Answers team members' questions regarding general HR policies and procedures, in adherence to established Service Level Agreement.

  • Records all employee inquiries in PeopleSoft case tracking system.

  • Handles routine questions received from the phone, email or self-service cases.

  • Provides backup support for Reception position.

  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

  • Adheres to TM Service Center standards and practices.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Associate's degree in a related area or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area.

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within HR.

  • Possesses beginning to working knowledge of general HR topics.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience in HR.

  • Experience in PeopleSoft.

  • Experience in Shared Services environment.

  • Experience working with HR and/or case management systems.

  • Experience in healthcare.
