Job Title: Equipment Operator
Job Description
We are seeking experienced equipment operators proficient in operating graders, dozers, and scrapers with the ability to check grade. This role involves a mix of equipment operation and general labor duties, requiring an ambitious and skilled individual.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, scrapers, excavators, graders, and loaders.
Check grade and read civil drawings accurately.
Perform additional tasks beyond equipment operation as needed.
Utilize laser levelers and GPS equipment to evaluate grade to within an inch.
Essential Skills
Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as dozers, scrapers, excavators, graders, and loaders.
Ability to check grade and read civil drawings.
Experience with laser levelers and GPS equipment.
Ambitious and able to perform various tasks beyond operating equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Commercial construction experience.
Experience with civil grading and general labor tasks.
Ability to work with concrete and heavy equipment such as motor graders, skid steers, and backhoes.

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily outdoors, requiring openness to various weather conditions and physical tasks. The shift is from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with overtime, totaling approximately 50 hours per week. You will be part of a team of 22 other operators and 2 field superintendents.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
