JOB SUMMARY
The Driver is responsible for safe and timely pickup and delivery of vehicles within Canada and the US. Duties include vehicle inspections; loading and offloading car carrier; timely and accurate completion of daily logs, fuel, mileage and run sheets, while providing exceptional customer service at all times.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect vehicles prior to loading, ensuring that vehicles are loaded correctly, and documentation is accurately completed
Pick up and deliver vehicles on car carrier in a timely, safe and responsible manner, and ensure that all paperwork is completed with the customer
Load and unload freight as required.
Daily safety inspection of the tractor and trailer.
Report to Dispatch on a daily basis for loads and instructions, maintain regular communication with Dispatch to ensure that customer needs are met
Maintain and submit accurate logs and records
Report damages, incidents and equipment failures to Fleet Manager immediately

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED
3 years of related experience
EDUCATION
Required: High School/GED or equivalent
