Position Summary:

As a Computer Architecture Intern, you will collaborate with a team of experts in the field of Edge AI to enhance the capabilities of our Event-Based NPU. Your role will involve designing, simulating, benchmarking, and optimizing the processor architecture to ensure maximum efficiency and performance. You will be at the heart of our innovation, contributing to projects that push the boundaries of what is possible in Edge AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and optimization of advanced computer architectures optimizations for our Event-Based NPU.

  • Participate in the development and simulation of innovative algorithms to improve processing efficiency and speed.

  • Evaluate planned innovations on the NPU architecture, suggesting improvements and optimizations.

  • (Re)train Neural Networks for performance on our NPU;

  • Engage in performance benchmarking and analysis, documenting and presenting findings to the team

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Edge AI and computer architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree or PhD degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong foundation in computer architecture, digital design, and system-on-chip (SoC) concepts.

  • Familiarity with AI algorithms and neural networks, with a keen interest in Edge AI technologies.

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.

  • Experience of deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch and/or Tensorflow is a plus.

  • Experience with event-based processors and sensors is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas effectively.
