Internship Objectives:

As a Marketing & Business Development Intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to dive into the world of marketing, demand generation planning, and business development for the Siemens Software business within our Partner Sales Team. You will support us in planning and project managing partner marketing campaigns and organize joint customer events of our Software partners that align with the company’s goals. You’ll assist in identifying suitable ZIFT campaigns and drive their execution as well as in managing our Partner Marketing Funding program. Further, you will be responsible for the execution of pre-defined campaigns which will result in an understanding of who is interested in our various software products. A successful campaign will firstly require the co-ordination of subject matter experts to help define what we should do, profiling the type of companies who might be interested and then finding out who in those companies we should be engaging with. Once that has been done campaign execution can be done through LinkedIn, email and could involve a call to action such as a webinar or information download. You will be joining a very successful team who work with partners that can turn the results of campaigns into highly valued new customer relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of an overall campaign plan and individual partner marketing plans that shows activity over a 6-month period

  • Ownership of the execution of individual campaigns

  • Liaising with colleagues and partner employees to define the plan, execution, and responsibilities

  • Take existing campaign content and edit or shape it to fit the campaign requirement

  • Research work to find companies and contacts who fit the relevant profile for a campaign

  • Use of LinkedIn to research people

  • Use of LinkedIn to execute targeted campaigns

  • You will work closely with the team leaders and technical managers to understand our technology and its benefits.

  • You will also assist with day-to-day issues such as optimizing presentations and project controlling

All about you!

You recently obtained (within the past year) or are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a combination of Business & Technology. Having affinity to the world of Industrial Software is a great plus.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch and the ability to build rapport with partners and customers

  • Your interest gravitates towards marketing, project management, technology business planning and sales

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • An ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and work both independently and in a team
