Job Description

OMLP is a 2 year management development program consisting of 3 eight-month rotations that allow participants to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training. We will put you in the core of our business where you will get a deep insight into our processes and can learn from experienced industry experts. It’s fast paced and challenging, but we’ll coach and mentor you while broadening your experience through a range of rotations and learnings.

Each of the three 8-month rotations includes responsibilities such as:

  • Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

  • Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)

  • Technical – (lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)

  • Environment, Health & Safety (site operations support, EHS support)

  • You’ll work as part of a team and will be involved in strategic projects to shape the business.

  • You will gain international experience in at least one rotation outside of your home country within our European sites in Ireland, Norway, Netherlands, UK and Germany. This will give you the opportunity to work with different cultures and different manufacturing environments.

  • As an OMLP you will join our EMEA Community, where together our trainees drive OMLP initiatives, engage with future OMLP recruitment, network with Leadership and enjoy Engagement Events together.

Qualifications/Requirements:

We want to hear from you if you hold/ are:

  • Up to 2 years prior experience as an intern, or research experience in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain

  • Relevant degree. Preference will be given to persons with a major in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Environmental Engineering.

  • Analytical approach and ability to solve problems in a team environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to connect with all levels of the organization showing a growth mindset, transparency.

  • A strong commitment to an international career in supply chain or EHS

  • Language skills – fluency in English is a requirement; Norwegian, Dutch, or German is an advantage, but not a necessity

  • A sense of curiosity and adventure with willingness to work away from home in a different country for extended periods
