Experience:Minimum of three years of experience in workforce development, recruitment, employment services, or related field is required for this position.
Education: High School Diploma /GED is required per policy.
Language: English required (Spanish is a plus) to communicate with clients and staff. Bilingual preferred
Driver's License: Not required for this position.
Requirements:
- Certification in workforce development or related field (preferred).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and resources for job seekers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients facing barriers to employment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Duties:
- Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' skills, interests, and employment goals.
- Assist clients with resume writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to identify job opportunities for clients.
- Match clients with suitable job openings and facilitate the application process.
- Provide training and ongoing support to help clients succeed in their jobs.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights in the workplace.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, job placements, and progress.
- Promote services to potential clients and community organizations through outreach efforts.
- Stay informed about labor market trends, employment laws, and resources for job seekers.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, psychologists, and educators, to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Shift: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
