Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA ProgressiveHealth, LLC Mt.
Vernon, IL
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 9am-5pm
Looking for a unique opportunity to use your skills? We are excited to
share our opening for an energetic and results-driven Physical Therapist
Assistant for a large manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, IL. This
position will strategically support employees by providing rehab,
ergonomic education, and injury prevention support. Come be a part of

What will you be doing in this role?
- Coordinating and implementing rehabilitation treatment plans that
incorporate therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning
in a fully equipped, recently remodeled, onsite fitness center area.
- Providing ergonomic support by understanding the site operations,
job processes, and physical demands to make ergonomic
recommendations to prevent more serious musculoskeletal conditions
from occurring.
- Providing proactive injury prevention via education and OSHA first
aid guidelines.
- Keeping accurate, detailed documentation with efficiency.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- An Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration that
is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the
required state licensure
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start
of employment; maintain and provide proof of current
certification(s)
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned
shift
- Ergonomic and/or occupational health experience
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment,
without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and
Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,
and Excel
