Location: Elk Grove Village / Israel - Hybrid near Elk Grove
Travel: approximately 25% (meeting customers nationally)
Role: Sales Leader
This role will be tasked with leading Metals US Sales. They are looking to grow and leverage their excellent brand, quality and competitive pricing. This role can be a Senior Sales person with interest in moving into Sales Leadership, or a Sales Leader that is interested in becoming the GM/leader for company in the US (oversight of US business operations, sales, warehouse, etc). They will be initially leading a team of 7 in the US. The ideal candidate should have 10 years experience. This is a Leadership role.
Must Have:
Ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the 'red metals' business, bronze, brass, copper etc. They may be open to someone with Stainless Steel industry experience.
Must have experience working for a competitor; Distribution, Services or Producer.
Ideally will understand this industry from the perspective of distribution, production and services
Will be able to help expand current offerings; buybacks, buying/selling of products outside of those produced in Israel (EX. Hexagon vs squares?)
Must have excellent understanding of math and pricing for raw materials (daily price changes)
Must be creative in their market approach, find new sales channels, products and opportunities.
Grow sales from 50/50 Distribution/Machining to 80% machining.
Must have good tenure, no job hoppers.
