Senior Software Engineer

Job Requirements:

· Full Agile development of web-based enterprise solutions utilizing Java Spring Boot.

· Develop and integrate solutions using various open-source architectures.

· Support technical discussions to provide guidelines and approaches to the team.

· Collaborate with the team to design new features and functionality.

· Present solutions to stakeholders for various reviews

· Support security assessments as required.

· Serve as a mentor to the technical team.

· Monitor progress against deliverables, employing effective risk and issue management strategies,

Required Skills:

· 7+years as a senior developer building multi-tier, enterprise web-based solutions using technologies/frameworks such as Java 17, Spring, Spring Boot, JBoss/WildFly, RDBMS, ORM/JPA, AWS, Session Management, and REST.

· 7+ years in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. architecture, process re-engineering, development, verification)

· 2+ years’ experience working on Microservices architecture.

· 3 – 7 years estimating, planning, and executing complex projects using Agile methodologies

· Developing systems with Section 508 compliance

· Collaborating in a multiple team environment

· Experience supporting CMS Medicare or Medicaid programs

· Exceptionally strong communication skills, verbal and written. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds and at multiple organizational levels.

Desired Skills :

Proven experience with:

· Supporting client stakeholders with varying levels of Agile experience

· Experience with rules/process engines such as JBoss BPM and JBoss BRMS

Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel

Desired (pluses) :

· Master's in Information Systems or Computer Science

· Web Front End experience HTML/CSS/SASS/Javascript

· React Experience

· Expertise in Secure Coding and Secure Development Life Cycle with CI/CD concepts.

· Ability to learn new technologies quickly

· Ability to mentor team members

Education/Certifications :

· Computer Science degree or Bachelors’ Degree in a related major
