**[Job Summary
[Provides excellent Customer Service for Endicott Clay Products by assisting current and potential customers with their questions and entering new orders in the computer.
[Essential Functions
[Answers incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls or taking messages as necessary;
[Checks inventory records to determine availability of requested merchandise;
[Assists walk in customers as needed;
[Processes sample requests for customers and distributors, forwarding them to the Sample Department for shipment;
[Prepares Letters of Certification and/or LEED letters, provide test data sheets and MSDS reports as requested from distributors;
[Handles all crushed brick transactions including preparing a weekly deposit and sending out invoices for same.
[Assists with responding to emails sent to endicott@endicott.com
[Sets up shipping releases for the shipping department;
[Processes shipping tickets when material is picked up;
[Enters customer orders into computer system, scans customer orders to Doc-Trak, mails verifications to customers, and e-mails copies to salesmen;
[Creates jobs for material for new production;
[Submits Name Engraved orders to the engraver, collects payment, and send out orders;
[Updates reports such as: Non Standard, and Large Quantity Reports;
[Keeps distributor territory maps updated when new distributors are added or new territories assigned.
[Must follow all Health and Safety rules set forth by Endicott Clay Products and OSHA;
[Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft applications, filing and records management systems, transcription, multi-line telephone, basic office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, printers, scanner and other office procedures and terminology;
