Good Shepherd Village at Endwell is looking to add a talented Maintenance Supervisor to our team!
Position Details: Monday-Friday, On Call Rotation, Overtime as needed, 80hours/bi-weekly

Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Building and Facilities Operations & Management, the role is responsible for ensuring that the physical environment is safe, functional, and comfortable for residents. In addition, the overseeing of a range of maintenance tasks, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Oversee maintenance tasks
Ensure safety and compliance
Supervise maintenance staff
Provide training and development to maintenance staff
Performance monitoring of maintenance staff
Oversight of Environmental staff in the absence of Housekeeping supervisor
Preventative Maintenance Program: develop, maintain & implement
Corrective Repairs: Address and resolve any immediate maintenance issues or equipment
Environmental Rounds: Performance of monthly rounds for the designated facility
Safety and Compliance: Adherence to local building codes, health and safety regulations and NPFA (National Fire Protection Association) Life Safety Codes
Emergency Preparedness: Regularly test emergency systems, conduct fire drills
Vendor & Contractor Management: Contractor Coordination & Vendor Evaluation
Budge Management: Budget oversight & Expense Reporting
Documentation and Reporting: Maintenance Records & Incident Reporting: Document & Report safety concerns
Facility Upkeep: Routine Inspections, Emergency Repairs, Etc.
Special Projects
Essential Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
License: Valid Driver's License
Qualifications: Must be 18 year of age, Ability to read, write and speak English language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience: 3-5 years of Supervising experience in Facility Maintenance
