Position Overview
KLJ Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Professional
to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being
of our employees and compliance with all safety regulations on our
construction sites. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about promoting a
culture of safety and will possess strong organizational and communication
skills.
Key Responsibilities
Field Safety Visits: Conduct regular safety inspections and visits to
construction sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Safety Audits: Perform comprehensive safety audits to ensure adherence to
safety standards and protocols.
Training Management: Organize and manage safety training programs for
employees to promote safe work practices and compliance with safety
regulations
Drug Testing Review: Collaborate with third-party providers to review drug
testing results and ensure proper documentation and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental
Science, or a related field is preferred. Applicable experience will be
considered.
Advanced certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or
CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Willingness to travel to various construction sites and offices as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the construction
or engineering industry.
Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant
safety certifications.

Be able to walk on uneven terrain up to ten miles per day
Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to
75 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

$25-33 per hour depending on applicable experience and location. We offer a
