Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent
Key Accountabilities: The Second Assistant/Irrigation Tech position will
assist the first assistant in overseeing seasonal employees. They will help
train and assist on getting the crew ready for day to day work. They will
oversee the running of the irrigation system and trouble shoot satellites
issues that may arise.
Essential Requirements:
-Knowledgeable in Toro sprinkler heads and Lynx software
-Modify existing irrigation system to improve coverages
-Have a good understanding of Golf and Golf Course Management practices
-Must be able to read blue prints
-Knowledge of basic electricity related to irrigation system
-Install/Repair irrigation system and sprinklers as needed
-Lead/Train seasonal crew members
-Must have people skills
-Must be problem solver
-Must be a self-starter and multi tasker
-Must be prompt
-Must work early morning and weekend shifts
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Must be willing to work in inclement weather

Pay: $20.00 Per Hour
