Responsibilities and Duties: The cook shall be responsible for preparing the menu as well as ordering the food with the aid of the Kitchen Manager and/or Director of Housing Operations. The cook shall be responsible for and assist in the general upkeep and maintenance of the kitchen, these responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinating with each Kitchen Manager and/or Director of Housing Operations designating duties. Ensuring that the dishwasher has adequate amounts of detergent and rinse shine. Smoking in only designated areas. Washing utensils, pots and pans as needed for immediate use. Under agreement between the cook and the Kitchen Manager and/or Director of Housing Operations, shall be responsible for serving meals and doing an acceptable cleanup afterwards. In addition, the cook will perform other duties as designated by the Kitchen Manager and/or Director of Housing Operations.
