Summary:

The ERP Finance Business Analyst will assist with ERP strategy for Wabtec focusing on the financial ERP applications and integrations. The ERP strategy will include the migration of Wabtec business units to the common ERP application and the assessment to migrate to the ERP cloud application.

The position will work closely with the Finance and Supply Chain DevOps teams, ERP Program Management, Finance IT and the Supply Chain teams to develop short and long range strategic plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ERP on-premise strategy focusing on the Financial modules

  • Creation and maintenance of a 1 - 3-year migration schedule

  • Creation and maintaining of an ERP implementation approach

  • Provide scoping, module reviews and migration estimates for ERP site assessments

  • Assist with pillar application integrations

  • Maintain financial ERP migration documents and templates

  • ERP cloud strategy focusing on the Financial modules

  • Define a plan to move the on-premise instance to the cloud ERP application

  • Assess options to implement a hybrid on-premise and cloud solution

  • Assist with integration of financial pillar applications and the ERP cloud application

  • Maintain financial cloud ERP migration documents and templates

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications : (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance ERPs or in a related area.

  • Thorough knowledge of business processes and computerized business applications, especially Oracle Applications.

  • Must be able to travel as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, and compile and present information clearly.

  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.

  • Motivation to provide excellent internal and external customer service

  • Proven project planning and management experience.

  • Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to analyze business situations and problems.

  • Analytical and reasoning ability for solving problems and good judgment for complex decision-making.

  • Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.

  • Strong focus on Quality
