Ensure that ovens meet specific quality standards by conducting thorough inspections within the manufacturing facility. Identify defects, record findings, and collaborate with quality team to maintain and improve products.
Requirements
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Performing standard audit procedures on ovens sampled for audit.
Making Pass or Fail quality decisions on the product
Assisting line supervisors and lead persons in training employees for quality assembly.
Visual inspections
Maintaining spreadsheets
Must be aware of trends in defects/errors.
Product support for Manufacturing, Engineering and Sales
Qualifications/Essential Functions:
Motivation for Quality and commitment to uphold its highest standards
Reliability as demonstrated through attendance and self-motivation
Capable of memory retention for work in various areas
Basic knowledge of gas combustion and a willingness to learn
Basic knowledge of electrical components and their function
Applied basic mechanical ability
Experience in reading and following wiring schematics
Organizational and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work in various work areas on a regular basis
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Ability to push and pull ovens on a platform cart
Able to work and interact professionally and effectively with technicians and co-workers
Knowledge of Excel and Word software
Willingness to assist other departments as directed.
