JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY Performs repetitive bench assembly operations
to produce products such as pumps and other manufactured items by
performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Places parts in specified relationship to each
other. Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts
together. Tends machines, such as arbor presses, to perform force
fitting or fastening operations on assembly line. Operates electrical
and hydraulic test equipment interpreting and recording results as to
their correlation to product quality. Works at different work stations
as production needs require. Reviews incoming returned materials for
condition and suitability for repair or recondition. Performs repair
work and reconditioning, preparing assemblies for return stock or return
to customers. Consults with Sales and Engineering personnel as to
product revisions and customer requirements. Maintains and records
accurate count of workpieces produced and personal hourly attendance
data. Practices safe work habits, maintains workplace in good order, and
wears issued personal protective equipment in the workplace. Other
duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no
supervisory responsibilities. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and
interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports
and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or
employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract,
multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply
common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving
several concrete variables in standardized situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
