Job Description

As the Fuel Systems Staff Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop hardware that supports Advanced Technology projects and programs

  • Support fielded and NPI applications as required

  • Interface with electrical, fluid, and controls engineers to ensure tasks are captured within the technology maturation needs

  • Manage hardware through the design process from initial concept through ground and flight testing with a focus on technology and manufacturing readiness

  • Define supplier design efforts with respect to technology and manufacturing readiness

  • Actively participate in internal and supplier design reviews

  • Support engineering team members as required to ensure adherence to plans

  • Work within a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needs

  • Present technical and manufacturing readiness plans and status to internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in disciplinary engineering and science
