Aviation Technical Services VIP Interior Mechanic Lead in Everett, Washington

SUMMARY: The Lead Mechanic oversees the maintenance tasks in the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to insure airworthiness. Ensures timely completion of tasks and provides training and mentorship for an assigned function area. Assists with Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities for short periods of time.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures all tasks are promptly completed in compliance with federal regulations, customer guidelines and company policies.
  • Reviews required customer and FAA paperwork to ensure proper maintenance updates and compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements.
  • Leads the maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration of, or approve and return to service, any aircraft, or part thereof, only for which that Lead is rated and has satisfactorily performed the work concerned at an earlier date.
  • Performs maintenance tasks as required and becomes an active member of the crew.
  • Conducts crew meetings to ensure communication regarding work, safety, and quality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • []{#_Hlk15452178}Minimum of four (4) years' recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred.
  • Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

 

Compensation

The base salary for this position is $30.00-44.50 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS, your final base hourly wage will be based on factors such as skills, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors -- we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base hourly range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
